Seeking Managing Director of Commercial Operations/Logistics Position.

Experience:
- Oversee daily vessel operations for Petrochemicals, Refined Products and Coal transactions: encompassing barge, deep sea vessels, trucking and rolling stock.
- Provide leadership/leverage direct reports: Logistics, Traders and Admin personnel.
- Manage our waterborne, truck and railroad positions, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded: Create plans that achieve leverage, create competition, manage risk and achieve corporate goals for cost, quality, delivery, capacity and working capital.
- Own/manage client relationships: understanding/scoping of client issues within a project framework, managing deliverables and custom solutions to critical client issues, ensuring the execution of detailed business plans (as required).
- Provide leadership and guidance on new business initiatives.
- Present in depth knowledge of specific energy products as well as the targeted consumer segment.
- Negotiate competitive transportation pricing with Owner/Agents.
