I handle a multi phone line system, I register and check out patients, verify patient insurance information, and referral authorizations. I also schedule and confirm patient appointments, co pays, prepare patient charting, photocopy, file, email, and scan patient demographic information. I post patient balances and credits, take and retrieve messages for medical assistants, provide patients with information such as clinic addresses, directions and web sites.
